About me
I am a freelance musician (woodwind specialist and vocalist) and teacher in the Southeastern Louisiana region. I have a vocal performance degree from Southeastern Louisiana University, where I studied oboe and English horn with Lissa Stolz, piano with Dana Morse and Dr. Henry Jones, clarinet with Victor Drescher, saxophone with Dr. Kimberly Gedde, and voice with Dr. Alissa Rowe. At Southeastern, I performed as principal oboist with the wind symphony, symphonic band, and chamber orchestra and performed with the clarinet choir. I have sung with the university chorus and the concert choir. I performed many roles with the Opera/Musical Theatre Workshop. As a woodwind specialist, I have played for several churches, choirs, schools, and theaters in the southeastern Louisiana area including Rivertown Theatre in Kenner and Le Petit Theatre du Vieux Carre in the French Quarter. I currently teach woodwinds at Denham Springs High School and Westside Junior High School.
